Qualifier Hailey Baptiste takes on fellow American Danielle Collins in round two at Indian Wells. Her opponent is the 14th seed in this outdoor hard court tournament. Can Baptiste cause a seeding upset? Here's our match prediction.

Baptiste is the world number 100 and had to win two qualifying matches to reach round one of this WTA 1000 tournament. That was achieved but the 23-year-old had to go to a final set to beat Ena Shibahara in her first match.

Round one saw Baptiste defeat fellow qualifier Whitney Osuigwe in straight sets for the loss of only three games. Before this tournament, Baptiste had reached a quarter-final in Auckland in January but lost three in a row before the qualifiers began.

Danielle Collins was due to retire at the end of last year but then changed her mind. The 31-year-old is playing only her third tournament of the year. Collins lost in round one in Adelaide to Ons Jabeur and then reached round three of the Australian Open, losing to eventual winner Madison Keys.

The world number 14 has a best at Indian Wells of a fourth round in 2018. Baptiste has never made it past round two here. Collins won her only previous match against Baptiste last year. We go for over 19.5 games to be played.
