Sebastian Baez is the only seeded player remaining in the bottom half of the Chile Open. The third seed faces unseeded Damir Dzumhur for a place in the last four of this outdoor clay court tournament in Santiago. Here's our match prediction.

Baez is the world number 31 but 38th in the live rankings. That's because the 24-year-old is the defending champion in this tournament. He lost his first two matches of 2025 but they were both on hard courts.

Since beginning to play in clay court events, he's won ten of his 12 matches. A Challenger Tour semi-final was won and Baez then won the ATP Tour clay court event held in Rio. So far this week he's beaten unseeded Francesco Comesana, needing three sets to win the match.

Damir Dzumhur has been as high as 23rd in the rankings but that was seven years ago. He's currently 83rd in the live rankings after returning to form this week. Before this tournament, he'd only won two of his five clay court matches with one of those victories being on the Challenger Tour.
