Dallas Stars vs Seattle Kraken Prediction & Betting Tips - NHL

The 10-14-8 Seattle Kraken are off to the Lone Star State to take on the 17-8-4 Dallas Stars. The Stars have only won eight of their 13 home games so far but that is a better record than Seattle's road standing, the Kraken winning just four of 15. Recent Dallas games have been good for neutrals who enjoy plenty of goals and with their starting goalie Jake Oettinger leaving their loss to the St Louis Blues with a lower-body injury, this could be more of the same. Jason Robertson continues the excellent start to his career for the Stars, with more than a point a game. He has seven points in six games against Seattle so he has played well against this opponent. Captain Jamie Benn picked up his 500th career assist recently against the Detroit Red Wings, helping to cement his place as one of the top Stars of all time.
Things have been a struggle of late for the Kraken, an eight-game losing streak ending with a pair of excellent home wins over the Florida Panthers 4-0 and the Chicago Blackhawks 7-1. They have lost four games in a row on the road and this is the first game of four on their travels so that is a run that they would desperately like to see the end of. They will have opportunities to score goals given the way that the Stars are conceding at present but in general, they have not been scoring enough themselves. Just 24th in the league in goals scored, they are 26th in goals against so they have struggled to get things right, both going up the ice and coming back. Compare that to last year when they were 6th in goals for and 15th in goals against, it is easy to see why they have taken a step backwards.
