Dallas Stars vs Nashville Predators Prediction & Betting Tips - NHL

Just two games in the early hours of Saturday morning, one of which will see the 22-18-1 Nashville Predators on the road at the 24-11-5 Dallas Stars. They have already met twice this season, the Stars winning in Nashville 3-2 and the Preds victorious in Dallas 4-3 only a week ago. Offensively, the Stars have been well balanced with four players on the team having 15+ goals on the season as well as scorers with 13 and 12. They lost their first three home games of 2024, all by one goal but look to have righted the ship with a pair of wins over the Minnesota Wild. The Wild are not the best quality opposition with only three teams below them in the Western Conference but the Stars will be happy to have got the points on the board.
The Preds have been a bit inconsistent this season but they have shown some signs that they are more than capable of playing as well as anyone. They really ought to have won both of the games against the Stars this season, taking a 2-0 lead into the final period of their home game. They still had a 2-1 lead when there were just 16 seconds left on the clock. They somehow managed to concede twice in that time to lose the game, again losing a 2-0 lead before they beat the Stars in Dallas last week. The Stars have not been quite at their best of late, but Nashville arrive off the back of a 5-3 home defeat to the Anaheim Ducks, which is not a result that they are going to be proud of either.
