The Dallas Mavericks (32-32) and the Phoenix Suns (29-34) meet at American Airlines Center in Saturday's NBA matchup. The Mavericks are 10th in the Western Conference table, while the Suns are 11th. Here's our match prediction. 

The Dallas Mavericks have struggled to find their footing in the West and have gone from bad to worse. Their situation is quite understandable as head coach Jason Kidd has had to make do with an injury-riddled team.

Heading into the second night of a back-to-back, eight players are currently on the injury list and four are regular starters. On Friday, the Mavs were on the receiving end of a 122-111 home defeat against the Memphis Grizzlies.

That result extended their losing run in the league to four matches. Their struggles stretch far beyond that losing run, as they've now lost six of their last seven outings.

Their opponents, the Phoenix Suns, will aim to capitalize on their injury woes. However, the visitors have had their own fair share of struggles. 

The Suns head into the second night of a back-to-back with nine losses in their last 12 games. The most recent of those defeats was a 149-141 away overtime defeat against the Denver Nuggets. 

Away from home, Michael Budenholzer's men have lost three straight matches. However, they remained competitive in their last two matches against the Grizzlies and the Nuggets.
