They are now gunning for their third consecutive win, following an impressive 116-100 triumph over the Detroit Pistons in their last game before the All-Star break. Kevin Durant was the standout performer, notching up 25 points, six rebounds, and six assists, while Saben Lee made a splash off the bench with 16 points. Phoenix's offensive output has been consistent, with the team scoring an average of 117.6 points per game, placing them 12th in the NBA. Interestingly, they maintain this level of scoring both at home and on the road. In terms of defense, they allow an average of 114.3 points per game, ranking them 15th in the league. The Suns will be without Damion Lee for the upcoming game, and Bradley Beal is listed as questionable.

Meanwhile, the Dallas Mavericks have been on an excellent streak, bagging six consecutive victories ahead of this match. Their latest was a convincing 116-93 win over the San Antonio Spurs last Wednesday. Kyrie Irving led the charge with an impressive 34-point performance, accompanied by nine rebounds and seven assists. Luka Doncic also made a significant contribution with 27 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists. Dallas ranks seventh in the NBA for scoring, averaging 118.7 points per game. However, their defense has been less impressive, conceding an average of 117.2 points per game, placing them 19th in the league. They have allowed fewer points in home games compared to away games.  Dallas will be without Dante Exum for their upcoming game, while Luka Doncic, Maxi Kleber, and Dereck Lively II are all listed as probable.
