Dallas fell to a slim 119-116 road loss to the Pelicans on Wednesday night. It was their third defeat in a row as the team looks to keep its head above water as they await the return of one of their two star players.

The Mavs are dealing with injuries to both Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving over the last few weeks. Irving played 30 minutes against the Nuggets in the Mavs’ 118-98 loss on Tuesday.
