The Dallas Mavericks will welcome a depleted New Orleans Pelicans this Wednesday. The Mavs are 10th in the Western Conference, three games clear of their visitors in 14th. Below is our prediction for this match.

The Mavericks have regained a bit of form after a torrid start to November. They’ve won their last two games, the first time this month they have won back-to-back. Jason Kidd’s men had managed just two wins in eight outings to start November before this positive run.

After defeating the Spurs to snap a four-match losing run, they secured a morale-boosting 121-119 victory over the high-flying Thunder. The Mavs, averaging 114.4 points, have leading scorer Luka Doncic out injured.

The Pelicans have seven players on their injury report with six already confirmed out of this trip. Injuries have rocked Willie Green’s side and through 14 games, they have lost 10 times.

The Pels, who have managed just one win in their last eight games, are coming off a 104-99 home loss to the Lakers. Four of the six players already confirmed out for this game are averaging at least 10 points.

Zion Williamson, who is putting up 22.7 points and grabbing eight boards, is among them. The Pelicans are averaging 104.6 points and have lost five of six away games.
