The Los Angeles Clippers will head to the American Airlines Center to take on the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA on Friday. The Mavs (17-9) are fourth in the Western Conference while the Clippers (15-12) are ninth in the conference standings. Check out our match prediction below. 

The Dallas Mavericks have been in excellent form and picked up their 12th win in 14 with a very impressive 143-133 victory over the Warriors on the road on Monday. 

Luka Doncic exploded for 45 points, 11 rebounds and 13 assists, while Klay Thompson and Kyrie Irving also put up over 20 points each with the latter grabbing eight assists as well. 

The Mavs are the fourth-highest-scoring team this season, averaging 119.5 points per game, and they are 13th on the defensive end, allowing 112.5 PPG. 

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Clippers have been improving lately and will be feeling good after producing a big win 144-107 against the lowly Utah Jazz on Tuesday. 

James Harden led the team with 41 points which included seven from beyond the arc, while Norman Powell contributed 29 points and Ivica Zubac added 19 with 12 rebounds. 

The Clippers are ranked 24th in the scoring charts (109.6 PPG), but they are top five on defence, allowing just 107.8 points per game.
