The Dallas Mavericks will welcome the Denver Nuggets for the second successive night seeking to return to winning ways in the NBA. The Mavs come into this game in fifth place in the Western Conference, 1.5 games behind their fourth-placed visitors. Below is our prediction for this match.

The Mavericks lost 112-101 in the first game of this back-to-back to see a two-match winning run halted. They have now lost six times in their last eight games.

Jason Kidd’s men have severely been affected by Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving’s absence with injury. The team’s top-scoring duo have missed at least the last five games.

The Nuggets are gradually getting back to full fitness with only Vlatko Cancar and DaRon Holmes ruled out for this game. Russell Westbrook and Nikola Jokic led the Nuggets in the first game in Dallas and both had double-doubles. 

Westbrook led the team with 21 points with Jokic adding 19 and 18 rebounds. This was the Nuggets’ third successive victory and their seventh in the last nine outings. 

They have moved to eight games above .500. Denver have won two of the three meetings this season with Dallas. Another victory and they will secure this regular season series.
