Andy Murray begins his campaign in the Paris Masters and faces someone who beat him the last time they played. It's not a high seeded player like Novak Djokovic or Roger Federer but an 18 year-old from Croatia.  Borna Coric defeated Murray in February in Dubai before losing to Federer in the semi-finals. Their only other meeting was in the Davis Cup in 2013 when Murray won in straight sets. Murray hasn't played a great deal since the US Open but has done well with important wins in the Davis Cup and then losing to Novak Djokovic in the Shanghai Masters. He takes on a teenager who is ranked 46th in the world and beat Fernando Verdasco in straight sets in the first round. Coric certainly has a big future ahead of him and won the ATP Star of Tomorrow award last year. Aside from that semi-final appearance in Dubai, he reached a couple of quarter finals and won a Challenger tournament in Colombia. His highest ranking this year has been 33 in September but he's slipped a bit since then and his win over Verdasco was his first win in three tournaments.  He's a better doubles player and is currently ranked 18th in the world. Murray is in good form and should win this in straight sets but his opponent is definitely one to put in your notebooks for the future.
