Coco Gauff vs Qiang Wang Prediction & Betting Tips - Parma, Italy, Qualifying

Coco Gauff was in the semi-final in Rome last week and now plays in the Emilia Romagna Open final in Parma. The 17-year-old takes on Qiang Wang in only her second WTA Main Tour final. Gauff won the other, that was in Linz two years ago. This is her first on clay since joining the main WTA Tour. However, as a junior she did win the girl's singles at the French Open. Gauff will climb up to 26th in the world rankings and to 25th if winning the title. Friday saw her get past Katerina Siniakova in three sets with the middle set being the one lost.

Wang is a former world number 12 and started playing on the main tour when Gauff was just two years old. 2018 saw her reach three finals in tournaments held in China with one being won. This is her first final since then and the first outside her native country. Her ranking has slipped and earlier this year she was down to number 50 but is gradually climbing back up the rankings now. Only four matches had been won by her before this week. Her semi-final saw Wang beat Sloane Stephens in straight sets. It didn't look as if that was going to happen as Wang trailed 5-1 in the second set but ended up winning on a tie-break. Gauff looks in the better form, back her to win the title.
