Corentin Moutet vs Andrey Rublev Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Qatar Open
by Steve Ashfield | in Tennis Predictions
Andrey Rublev is the second seed for this tournament and meets qualifier Corentin Moutet in the final. Rublev is ranked 23rd in the world but up to 20th in the live list and now bids to get his 2020 off to a great start with his third tournament victory. He is the highest ranked player left in this tournament that had Stan Wawrinka as the top seed due to the clash with the ATP Cup this week. To get to this final, Rublev has had three comfortable wins without dropping a set and not meeting a seeded player. The semi-final saw him defeat world number 62 Miomir Kecmanovic for the loss of only four games.
Corentin Moutlet has been the surprise package in this tournament. The Frenchman had to qualify for this event and the world number 81 has certainly made the most of making the main draw. After a first round victory over Todd Sandgren in the first round, he beat fourth seeded Milos Raonic in round two winning two tie-breaks. He dropped a set against Fernando Verdasco in the quarter finals and then came from behind to knock out Stan Wawrinka in the last four. He has had a great run but Rublev had a good end to 2019 and is carrying that on already this month. Go for Rublev to win the title in straight sets.

Our Corentin Moutet vs Andrey Rublev Prediction
The final months of 2019 saw Andrey Rublev climbing the rankings and will be in the top 20 win or lose in this final. He has been in top form all week and has yet to drop a set. He takes on an opponent who has caused two big shocks this week already. Up against an in-form Rublev though, this looks a tough task and the Russian can get the win in straight sets.
