Both teams have started the season strongly and each come into this game off the back of a win in their last outing. The Hurricanes beat up on the Oilers with a 7-2 home victory while the Aves extended their winning streak to three games after a 5-3 home win over Nashville.

We’re going to back the Colorado Avalanche to continue their home dominance over the Canes and record another victory here. This should be an excellent matchup and there’s quite a decent chance that we do wind up seeing these two teams battling it out for the cup at the end of June. At these odds, and with the Aves seemingly on a roll on the offensive side of the puck, we certainly see some value in backing them to make it four straight wins.
