The Cleveland Cavaliers comfortably dispatched the Washington Wizards on Friday, building a 16-point lead in the final quarter to end the night 132-124 to the good. 

Donovan Mitchell posted 33 points, one rebound and five assists while Evan Mobley and Darius Garland broke the 20-point mark as the Cavs converted 51% of their 94 field attempts. 

Cleveland continues to hold down the second-best offensive average in the league (122.4 points per game) while allowing 112.1 PPG (11th overall). 

Meanwhile, the Minnesota Timberwolves recorded their third consecutive victory, triumphing over the Portland Trail Blazers 114-98 on Saturday.

Jaden McDaniels led the team with 30 points, 10 rebounds and four assists as the Timberwolves overcame a 15-point deficit with an outstanding second-half performance. 

Minnesota are averaging just 111.7 points per game (20th in the NBA) but their major strength has come on the defensive end where they are allowing 108.0 PPG (fourth overall).
