The Milwaukee Bucks have also emerged as a dominant force in the East, despite the league standings stating otherwise. The Bucks come into this match following their 97-81 NBA Cup success in the final against Oklahoma City Thunder.

Since suffering two consecutive defeats against the Atlanta Hawks and the Boston Celtics, they have strung together a fine run of form winning four consecutive matches.
