The Cleveland Cavaliers will be looking to snap a three-game losing run when they host the Atlanta Hawks next. They come into this NBA regular season fixture while ninth in the Eastern Conference, a place above Atlanta. The Cavs are returning home after a horrid four-game road trip in the East that saw them claim just one win. Two of those matches were back-to-back against Boston and the latest saw them fall 116-107. J.B. Bickerstaff’s men have now dropped to only one game above .500. They did however win the first meeting of the season against the Hawks and this should at least boost their spirits. Cleveland will be without two of their starters here due to injury. Darius Garland suffered a broken jaw in Boston and joined Evan Mobley on the sidelines. The two are the Central Division franchise’s second and third best scorers.

The Atlanta Hawks ended a five-match losing streak last time out by defeating Toronto in the second match of a back-to-back. They won 125-104 to register their 10th victory of the season. Quin Snyder’s men are four games below 500. Atlanta have however played their best basketball away from home. As they are coming off a win, they will fancy their chances even more here. The Hawks, who have the league’s third-best offence, have registered seven of their 10 wins on the road. Defensively is where they have gone wrong and the 122.5 points they are allowing their opponents is the third-worst record. DeAndre Hunter and Jalen Johnson will continue to be sidelined for the visitors with quadriceps and wrist injuries respectively.
