Clermont host Stade Toulousain hoping to improve their chances of making the play-offs. They begin the weekend in eighth place in Top 14 with the visitors in second position. Clermont are only two points behind the final play-off position and it's their home form that is keeping them in the hunt for a top four finish. They have won seven of their 11 matches in Top 14 this season and five of their wins have come on home soil with a points difference of +71. Two of their last three at home have been won, the most recent being a 38-21 win over Lyon. They do need to bounce back from a loss at Aviron Bayonnais in their most recent match. That wasn't a disgrace though as Bayonnais have a 100% home record in Top 14.

Stade Toulousain were only behind leaders Stade Francais Paris on points difference at the start of this weekend. Ten of their 15 matches in Top 14 have ended in victory this season. However, while they have won all eight of their home fixtures, it's a different story on the road. Just two of their seven away matches have been won, though they did win at Racing 92 in their last match. That ended a run of four straight away losses. With Clermont desperate for points to boost their play-off chances, we tip them to get an important home win over Stade Toulousain.
