This will be the first game for both teams in this new format mini-tournament. The match is scheduled for Sunday 16th February at Chase Centre in San Francisco, California. The Young Stars are selected by former NBA guard and two-time champion Kenny Smith. Their opponents, a team composed of the top international players in the NBA, were picked by Hall of Famer Charles Barkley.
The winner of this tie will face off with the Rising Stars team or the OGs squad in the championship game. All four semi-finalists are battling for the All-Stars winners trophy and a cash prize of USD 120,000 per player. Each team consists of eight players and the first team to 40 points wins.
