Lloyd Harris has made it to the semifinals of the Mallorca Championship and will on Friday battle unseeded Christopher Eubanks. The winner here will face either fourth seed Adrian Mannarino or Yannick Hanfmann in the final. Eubanks defeated Harris last month in Gwangju in the challenger circuit. He will eye the same here as he targets advancing to the first tour final of his career. The American has been superb on grass, winning eight of the 11 matches he has played on the surface. Qualifier Lloyd Harris has defeated Eubanks four times out of the six encounters between them to date. By his performance at Santa Ponsa, he will be confident of extending this dominance. The South African began the tournament in the qualifying rounds and has won five matches. He is yet to drop a set in the main draw and in the previous round, defeated lucky loser Pavel Kotov. Five of his total 18 wins for the season have come on grass and he has won one semifinal thus far. This was in Nonthaburi at the start of the year. Harris also made it to the Doubles final in Mallorca so it is open to interpret whether he will be fatigued.
