China and Turkey are set to lock horns in the quarter-final of the Women’s Volleyball competition at the Paris Olympics on Wednesday morning. The winner of this match will move on to face either Italy or Serbia in the semi-final. Let’s get into the match prediction. 

China kicked off their Olympic campaign with a narrow victory over the USA, where they almost threw away a two-set cushion but managed to pull off the win in a close-run final set. 

However, they bounced back in fine style as they cruised past host nation France in straight sets before booking their spot in the knockouts with a 3-1 win over Serbia on Sunday evening. 

With those results, the Asian nation have now won eight of their last 10 matches in all competitions, with their only defeats coming against Japan and Italy in that time. 

Meanwhile, Turkey secured their qualification early in the competition, taking down the Netherlands 3-2 in their opening match before overcoming the Dominican Republic 3-1 in match two. 

The only loss they suffered was to the formidable Italians in the final match of the group, where they failed to win a set for the first time since mid-June at the Nations League. 

The Crescent Stars have a positive record of six wins and four losses in their last 10 games but lost their most recent matchup against China 3-2 a couple of months ago.
