Two teams in desperate need of a victory will face off on Saturday when the Chicago Bulls host the Phoenix Suns in this NBA inter-conference matchup. Ahead of this clash, the Bulls are 10th in the East at 22-34 while the Suns’ 26-29 record sees them sitting 11th in the highly-competitive Western Conference. Let’s get into the match prediction! 

The All-Star break provided no respite for the Chicago Bulls as they returned from San Francisco’s festivities with a 113-111 overtime road loss to the Knicks on Thursday. They’ll now head back to the United Center as they attempt to put a stop to a five-game losing streak.

With only three wins from their last 10 overall, Chicago has dropped to 12 games below .500. They are still, however, holding onto the final play-in spot with a slim 1.5 game lead over the 11th-placed 76ers. 

In a similar vein, the Phoenix Suns head to the Windy City trying to hit the brakes on a four-game losing streak of their own. A 120-109 road loss to the Spurs on Thursday means that season’s sixth seed has now dropped seven from their last eight overall.

Many of Phoenix’s problems this season stem from its disappointing defense. In their last eight games alone, the Suns are allowing 124.4 points per contest.
