The game of the night takes place at the United Center in Chicago as the 39-21 Bulls host the 40-21 Grizzlies in a matchup between two of the best teams in the league. Chicago are tied for first place in the Eastern Conference and have continued the red-hot that saw them enter the All Star break last weekend. Chicago won their first game after the break 112-108 at home over the Hawks with another MVP level performance from DeMar DeRozan, who scored 37 points and hit the go-ahead mid range jumper with 15 seconds left that would ultimately lead to the win. They’ll face sturdy opposition in the Grizzlies who have been having a similar type of season as the Bulls and sit third in the Western Conference, trailing the first place Suns by 8.5 games. Memphis lost their last game 119-114 to the TWolves and have now lost two straight after falling to defeat to the Blazers before the All Star break.

With Zach Lavine back from injury the Bulls are a real threat to make a deep playoff run especially if DeRozan can keep up his magnificent level of play. Chicago will be looking to make it seven straight wins and they should have all the momentum as the Bulls will be playing their sixth consecutive home match. The Bulls have been excellent at the United Center this season, posting a home record of 24-8 and have won eight of their last 10 in their arena. The Grizzlies certainly won’t be feeling any intimidation however, as Ja Morant and his teammates have an away record of 21-10 and play with a high level of intensity that makes them hard to beat. Ultimately this should be a great game between two of the NBA’s most interesting teams.
