Chicago Bulls vs Golden State Warriors Prediction & Betting Tips - NBA
by Joseph King | in NBA Predictions
It’s been a difficult season for the Bulls who look a far cry from the team that won 46 games last season and finished sixth in the Eastern Conference standings. The Bulls this go around are currently below .500 as they have managed just 19 wins while piling up 24 losses already, putting them 11th in the conference standings. They come into this matchup looking to break out of a losing skid as they’ve now dropped three straight following the team’s disappointing 124-110 home loss to the Thunder on Friday. The Bulls only have one day of rest before taking the court again against the defending champions but at least won’t have to worry about travel as Chicago plays its second consecutive home game.
Their opponents today snapped a three game losing streak of their own after the Warriors recorded a 144-113 blowout victory over the San Antonio Spurs; a rare away win for Golden State. The win lifts the Warriors back to .500 as they currently sit seventh in the Western Conference with a record of 21-21. Golden State has had the biggest variance of all teams in regards to their home vs away performance this season. They hold a stellar 17-5 record at the Chase Center but have managed only a 4-16 record as the away team. The Champions have an excellent opportunity to start turning that trend around however, as their next four games are all away from home.
Golden State is finally getting healthy after having missed a number of their key players at various points as we approach the halfway point in the regular season. Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins, Draymond Green and Jordan Poole all suited up for the Dubs most recent victory in San Antonio and fans will be hoping they can continue forward with that positive momentum. For Chicago, they are still sweating the status of star DeMar DeRozan who has missed the last two games with a right quad strain. The Bulls are 0-2 in their two games without the 33-year-old who has been upgraded to ‘Questionable’ as his injury status.

Our Chicago Bulls vs Golden State Warriors Prediction
It’s tough to call this one at this point without knowing if DeRozan suits up for the Bulls. They’ll need both DeRozan and Zach Lavine to be at their best in this one if they are to snap Chicago’s current 11 game losing streak to Golden State. With that being said, the Bulls have been a solid home team this season and have been even better when playing as the underdogs. The Warriors have their big guns back but questions still remain over their away form. Our Chicago Bulls vs Golden State Warriors prediction: Bulls +1.5 spread
