The in-form Chicago Bulls will welcome the Cleveland Cavaliers for their next NBA regular season matchup. Chicago sits 10th in the Eastern Conference three places behind their soon-to-be visitors. The Bulls have won their last three games, the last two have been at home with the latest ending 114-95 against the Spurs. Billy Donovan’s men have seen an upturn in fortunes in December and the month has now delivered eight of their 13 victories. With nine of its victories coming at home, Chicago will be confident of maintaining its winning streak. The Bulls, who are averaging 115.3 points in this three-game stretch, will be without Torrey Craig for this fixture. Craig is the latest to go into the treatment room and joins long-term absentees Zach Lavine and Lonzo Ball.

The Cavaliers are coming off a 123-104 defeat at home to the Pelicans that ended a three-game winning run. Cleveland has stuttered in recent outings and before that winning run, had lost three in a row. Their inconsistent form has been triggered by the fact that they have had to do without two of their starters. Evan Mobley and Darius Garland have missed eight and four games respectively and this has taken a huge chunk from their offence. Garland is their second leading scorer while Mobley is averaging a double-double. But as they have dominated recent matchups with the Bulls, they will be confident of returning to winning ways. The Cavs have won four straight against their fellow Central Division opponents. Adding to Mobley and Garland, star guard Donovan Mitchell is also set to miss this match due to illness.
