The Brooklyn Nets face off against the Chicago Bulls at the United Center in downtown Chicago for an Eastern Conference clash in the NBA. Brooklyn has been on an unbelievable run of form since the head coaching change and bringing  of Jacque Vaughn to lead the team. They’ve now won their last 12 in a row, the longest streak in the 2022/23 NBA season so far, and have soared up the standings into second-place in the East. The Nets have 25 wins and 12 losses on the year and are 23-7 since Jacque Vaughn’s appointment.  Their last outing was a 139-103 demolition against the Spurs and they now trail the Bucks by just half a game for the top spot in the conference. The Nets defense has taken an unbelievable leap under the new head coach and is up to the seventh best mark in the NBA in terms of points allowed per game, despite being one of the league’s worst defensive teams under former coach Nash. 

Looking to put an end to the Nets incredible winning streak is the Chicago Bulls who are currently sitting 11th in the East. Chicago is coming off a 145-134 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers in overtime on Monday, making it two straight defeats for the Bulls and three losses from the last five. Chicago has 16 wins and 21 losses on the season and they have a lot of work to do if they are to get back into the playoff picture. They’ve struggled on their home court in recent outings, losing four of the last six outings at the United Center. However, the Bulls have been a .500 team overall at home so far this season with nine wins and nine losses in their 18 appearances.
