The Portland Trail Blazers will travel to the Spectrum Center to face the Charlotte Hornets in the NBA on Saturday. The Hornets (11-29) are 13th in the Eastern Conference while the Blazers (16-28) are 13th in the West. Let’s get into the match prediction!

The Charlotte Hornets are starting to find their rhythm with four wins in their last six games, but they were no match for the Grizzlies on Thursday when they were beaten 132-120 on the road.

Charlotte were outscored 78-48 by Memphis in the first half, and despite a much better performance in the second half when they scored 72 points, they were unable to close the gap. 

The Hornets are the third-lowest-scoring team in the league this season, averaging 107.4 points per game, but they are mid-table on the other end, allowing 113.0 PPG. 

Meanwhile, the Portland Trail Blazers are also playing some of their best ball of the season, notching up their third straight victory with a 101-79 win over the Magic last night. 

Anfernee Simons top-scored with 21 points and Tounami Camara added 16, but the win was attributable to their solid defence that restricted Orlando to just 18 points in the second quarter. 

The Blazers are averaging just 0.5 more points than the Hornets this season but allow 2.6 more on the defensive end.
