The Charlotte Hornets are enduring a very poor run of form, now hoping to avoid a fourth consecutive defeat after going down 112-104 to the Clippers last night. 

Miles Bridges put up 27 points and nine rebounds, Vasilije Micic contributed 20 points and Moussa Diabate added 11 points and 14 rebounds off the bench. 

The Hornets are the third-lowest-scoring team in the league, averaging 106.9 points per game, but they have been decent on defence, allowing 112.0 PPG (12th overall).

Meanwhile, the Denver Nuggets will be looking to build up momentum again after ending their three-match losing streak with a 137-134 victory over the 76ers last night. 

Jamal Murray, Nikola Jokic and Michael Porter Jr combined for 83 points. As a team, Denver shot a very impressive 65% from the field and made 12 of 23 attempts from beyond the arc. 

The Nuggets are now the third-highest-scoring team in the NBA at 120.8 points per game, though they do allow 116.7 PPG (25th overall).
