The Charlotte Hornets will welcome the Dallas Mavericks in their next match in the NBA. The Hornets enter this match as the third worst team in the Eastern Conference whereas their visitors are seventh in the West. Read on for our prediction of this match.

The Hornets are enjoying a renewed vigour and will arrive for this match fully confident of victory. Charles Lee’s men, who have compiled one of the poorest records this season, have won three of their last four games.

Before this spike in form, the Hornets had managed just two wins from their previous 23 outings. Currently, on a two-match winning run, Charlotte are coming off a 125-123 away victory over the Bulls. 

As the Hornets were seeing an improvement in form, the Mavericks were continuing with their lacklustre showing. Jason Kidd’s men have been defeated eight times in their last 11 games and haven’t won any of their last five away fixtures.  

They, however, managed to snap a three-match losing run with a morale-boosting 106-98 victory over the high-flying OKC Thunder.  

Luka Doncic is still sidelined and will not be involved in the trip to Charlotte. Dallas has won the last two meetings with their soon-to-be hosts.
