Playoff-chasing Castres Olympique host high-flying Bordeaux Begles in Saturday’s French Top 14 match. The two sides are enduring contrasting fortunes so far. Below is our prediction of the match.

Jeremy Davidson’s men are placed just outside the playoff slots in seventh with 27 points from 11 games. Last time out they halted their two-game losing streak with a narrow 16-14 win over Munster in the Champions Cup.

Yannick Bru’s charges have the best attack in the Top 14 having registered 350 points in just 11 games. Bordeaux Begles are in fine form having won four straight games in all competitions.

The run has seen them post a perfect start in the Champions Cup where they beat Leicester Tigers and Ulster.
