Casper Ruud vs Christopher Eubanks Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Acapulco Open

Sixth seed Casper Ruud will begin his Mexican Open campaign with a first-round showdown against unseeded Christopher Eubanks. Ruud will be hoping to put his disappointing loss in the final in Los Cabos behind him. The Norwegian, playing in his first final of the year, was defeated in straight sets by Jordan Thompson. This continued his poor recent record in finals as he has now lost five of the last six tour championship matches. Nonetheless, Ruud is having a superb season and has won nine of 11 matches. This has allowed him to get back into the ATP top 10 and is currently ranked ninth in the live ranking. Ruud has won twice in three previous meetings with Eubanks with his recent win coming last October.

Christopher Eubanks is having a slow start to the year and has so far compiled a 3-3 record. He will hope having had a three-week rest period will have reenergized him. Eubanks, who has won just once in three hard court outings, was last on the court in Dallas. He was eliminated in the second round. The American has won his opening-round tie at an event in his last three tournaments. Coupling this with the fact he has defeated Ruud once before should have him confident of making a winning start here. The 27-year-old is currently ranked 33rd in the live ranking. Last season in his debut in Acapulco, he was eliminated in the first round. The winner here will play either Dusan Lajovic or Rodrigo Pacheco Mendez next.
