Carlos Alcaraz vs Jack Draper Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Indian Wells

The 2023 BNP Paribas Open has reached the Round of 16 stages, and in our featured match, we will see Carlos Alcaraz and Jack Draper face off for the second time in their careers with a spot in the quarter-finals up for grabs. The World number 2 ranked player, Alcaraz, has enjoyed a fine start to 2023, losing just once in 11 matches thus far. The Spaniard got his year off to a late start, appearing for the first time in Buenos Aires, where he went on to win the tournament, beating Cameron Norrie in straight sets. However, Norrie didn’t have to wait too long for a chance at revenge, beating Alcaraz in their next meeting, which was the final in Rio a week later. Alcatraz hasn’t dropped a set yet at Indian Wells and has already beaten Thanasi Kokkinakis and Tallon Griekspoor up to this point. He was knocked out of the semi-final in this tournament last year and will be set on going one further this time. 

Jack Draper has had a pretty good start to 2023 himself, with a record of 7-3 to date. After an excellent showing in the Adelaide 2 tournament at the beginning of the year, Draper was drawn against Rafael Nadal in the Australian Open and was unable to overcome the world number one, losing in three sets. This is the first competitive tournament he’s competed in since then, and looks like he hasn’t missed a beat. The Brit saw off Leandro Riedi with ease in the first round and then went on to beat Daniel Evans (7-6, 6-2) in the round of 64. His best win of the tournament though came in the last match, where he overcame an in-form Andy Murray (7-6, 6-2). This is set to be one of the biggest hurdles for Draper to overcome this season, but he will be confident that he will give a good account of himself in this one.
