Carlos Alcaraz vs Cameron Norrie Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Buenos Aires
by Kennedy Kechula in Tennis Predictions
It will be a battle of the top two seeds in the final of the Argentina Open when first seed Carlos Alcaraz faces off with second seed Cameron Norrie on Sunday. Alcaraz has won three of the four previous matches between the two with Norrie’s sole win coming in their last meeting in Cincinnati last August. In his first tournament of the year, Alcaraz has blitzed past his opponents losing just one set in three matches played in Buenos Aires. To reach the final, the Spaniard swept past compatriot Bernabe Miralles in just one hour and 16 minutes, allowing Miralles just four games, two in each set. Since exiting the 2022 World Tennis Championship in mid-December, Alcaraz hasn’t been active due to injury which has seen him relinquish his hold on top spot in the ATP world ranking to Novak Djokovic. A win on Monday won’t see him ascend back to number one but will cement second place.
Cameron Norrie chose not to defend his Delray Beach Open title to play in Buenos Aires for the second time and it is about to pay off big time for him if he ends up winning it all. The world number 12 has not blasted past his opponents like Alcaraz (winning just one match in straight sets) but has gotten the job done and is now in his second final of the year. The British number one made it to the final in Auckland but was unable to change his woeful ATP series finals record as he succumbed to his eighth loss at the top level at the hands of Richard Gasquet.

Our Carlos Alcaraz vs Cameron Norrie Prediction
Carlos Alcaraz looked a bit shaky in his first match in two months, dropping the middle set in his win over the unseeded Laslo Djere in round one. He, however, looks to be back to his old self but won’t find it easy against Cameron Norrie who is in fine form to start the year and has already played in a final this season. Our Carlos Alcaraz v Cameron Norrie prediction is a win for Alcaraz.
