Carlos Alcaraz vs Alex De Minaur Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Finals

World number two Carlos Alcaraz will take on 16th-ranked Alex de Minaur in the final of the Queen’s Club Championship on Sunday. Alcaraz will have the opportunity to move back to number one in the world after he was overtaken by Novak Djokovic at Roland Garros. A win in this one will be his 40th of the year, currently 39-4, and has earned four major tournament titles in 2023. Alcaraz seems to have gotten over the disappointment in France, where cramp noticeably affected his performance against Djokovic in the semi-final. The Spaniard was given a scare in his first match on the grass, where lucky loser Arthur Rinderknech pushed him to the wire. Since then, though, he has looked much more comfortable, taking down Jiri Lehecka, Grigor Dimitrov, and Sebastian Corda, all in straight sets. Alcaraz did beat this opponent last year on the clay in Barcelona and will be firmly expected to do the same here. 

Meanwhile, Alex De Minaur will be looking to earn his second title of the year, with the first coming on the hardcourt in Acapulco back in February. He will also be able to break into the top 15 in the world here, which will equal the peak ranking of his career. He had a bit of a slump since winning that title, though, failing to get past the third round of any competition until now. However, his experience on the grass has shown in this competition with wins over Andy Murray, Diego Schwartzman, and Adrian Mannarino in the first three rounds. His most notable win came in the semi-final, where he met the world number six, Holger Rune, and overcame the Dane in straight sets. He saved three break points in the match and converted two of five over Rune, wrapping the match up in under two hours. While De Minaur has lost to this opponent in the past, his experience on this surface could be a major factor.
