Camilo Ugo Carabelli caused a shock in round one of the Chile Open. He beat seventh-seeded Nicolas Jarry and now takes on fellow unseeded player Thiago Monterio in the last 16 of this outdoor clay court event. Here's our match prediction.

Carabelli beat the seed in three sets after losing the first. Eventually, he had to win a third set tie-break to progress. The 25-year-old was a career-high 69th in the latest rankings and is now a new best of 64th after his first round victory.

That near three hour win followed an impressive run to the quarter-finals in Rio last week as a lucky loser. The winner of this match could face second seed Alejandro Tabilo in the last eight.

Monteiro leads Carabelli 2-1 in previous meetings (all on clay) but Carabelli won their last match. World number 108 Thiago Monteiro beat Juan Manuel Cerundolo in the first round. He also needed three sets with two tie-breaks played.

That was the fifth match in a row in which he's played a tie-break and a side bet on one in this match looks like a good idea. Monteiro only reached the second round in Rio last week. He hasn't reached an ATP Tour quarter-final since Gstaad last July.
