Cameron Norrie vs Ugo Humbert Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Rotterdam

It's February but Cameron Norrie is still waiting for his first win of 2022. The world number 13 is the sixth seed for the Rotterdam Open and he takes on unseeded Ugo Humbert in round one. Norrie is down at 273 in the ATP Race and really needs to kick start his year. Three matches in the ATP Cup were all lost and then he was beaten in the first round of the Australian Open by Sebastian Korda. He's had a break since then and will hope to finally get a win here.  A lot can happen in the space of 12 months. Last year, Norrie had to qualify for this tournament and reached the last 16, now he's one of the top seeds. Norrie lost his only previous match against Norrie. That was on clay though and three years ago.

Ugo Humbert is due to be number 41 when the new ranking list comes out. He's also not had the best of starts to the new year. He has won one match though and it was a big one. Humbert beat Daniil Medvedev in three sets in his opening game in the ATP Cup. It's been downhill since then though for the Frenchman. He lost his next two games in that team tournament, being beaten by Matteo Berrettini and Alex de Minaur. At the Australian Open, Humbert won the opening set of his first round match against Richard Gasquet but then lost the next three. He had the chance of revenge in Montpellier last week but again lost to his fellow Frenchman after taking the opening set. .The British number one needs to get off to a good start in this match to boost his confidence. If he can do that, then that first win of the year will be his.
