Cameron Norrie vs Frances Tiafoe Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Indian Wells

Cameron Norrie (10th seed) and Frances Tiafoe (14th seed) will on Wednesday face off in the quarterfinals of the ongoing Indian Wells Open on an outdoor hard court. Cameron Norrie is up to 11th in the live ranking and will seek a win here to possibly get back into the world’s top 10 bracket for the first time since October. He is having a superb season thus far and has already claimed one title, the Rio Open, prior to serving off at Indian Wells. He also made it to the final in Buenos Aires. He has dropped one set in his three matches at the Masters 1000 tournament and surprisingly it was against the qualifier Taro Daniel in the third round. To book this round, he outdueled sixth seed Andrey Rublev in straight sets. Norrie is a former champion here (2021) and having come this far in the tournament, he will fancy his chances of making at least the final.

Frances Tiafoe hasn’t gone past the quarterfinal in his four tournaments prior to serving off here at Indian Wells. This is his third successive quarterfinal having made the last eight in Dallas and Acapulco. His form in California suggests he could advance to the last four as he is yet to drop a single set in his three matches. It is however the first time that the world number 16 is facing off with a seeded player and one that is ranked higher than him. A win over Norrie, to advance to the semifinals here for the first time, will see him tie his career-high ranking of 14th in the live ranking. Norrie has the advantage over Tiafoe having won both previous meetings between them. The winner here will advance to the semifinals where a tie with either fifth seed Daniil Medvedev or 23 seed Alejandro Fokina awaits.
