12th seeded Cameron Norrie doesn't have any seeds standing between him and the fourth round. He takes on unseeded Christopher Eubamks in the second round of this grass court Grand Slam. Waiting in the third round are either Chris O'Connell or Jiri Vesely. Norrie reached the semi-finals at Wimbledon last year, the only time he's made it past the third round. He's yet to reach the quarter finals of any other Grand Slam event. The 27-year-old started this tourament ranked 13th in the world and is still in that position in the live rankiings. He's currently at 11th in the live rankings. Norrie played in the Queen's Club grass court tournament prior to Wimbledon. He won two matches but lost in the quarter finals to Sebastian Korda. The ffirst round at Wimbledon saw him defeat qualifer Tomas Machac in four sets, losing the second one.

Christopher Eubanks is in the main draw at Wimbledon for the first time. He'd previously failed in four attempts to qualify winning just two matches. The American had only previously reached the second round of a Grand Slam in New York and the Australian Open. Now ranked a career high 43rd in the world he didn't need to qualify for these championships. The 27-year-old started this year ranked 123rd but has made steady progress up the rankings. Highlights of his year have been a quarter final in Miami and then winning the grass court event held in Mallorca. He beat two top 45 ranked players to win that title. Other grass court events saw him reach a last 16 and twice lose in the last 32. The first round of this Grand Slam saw him come from a set down to beat Thiago Monteiro in four sets.
