Cameron Norrie vs Casper Ruud Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Finals

The ATP Tour Finals have been hit by injuries this week. After the withdrawal of Matteo Berrettini, now Stefanos Tsitsipas has announced he'll be taking no further part. That means it's the second alternate Cameron Norrie who steps in to face Casper Ruud and then the pleasure of taking on Novak Djokovic who has already won this group with two wins. Just playing two matches will see Norrie taking home $222,000 and winning a match gets another $173,000 in this money-crazy tournament. It's not what Norrie was expecting when being the world number 74 ten months ago. He's up to 12th in the world rankings and has won titles in Los Cabos and the recent Indian Wells Masters. As well as those two title wins, the British number one has been the runner-up in four tournaments. The most recent loss in a final was in San Diego, where he lost to Ruud and only won two games.

That win in San Diego was the fifth title this year for Ruud, who is now up to eighth in the rankings. All but the win in San Diego were on clay but he only won six matches in four Grand Slam events this year and has never made a quarter final. He has work to do in this group after losing his first match to Novak Djokovic 7-6 6-2. The three tournaments he's played since winning the San Diego title have seen him fail to get past the quarter finals. He still has a chance of qualification though in this tournament, a win over Norrie (especially a straight sets one) would set up a big match with Rublev. Norrie isn't going to be easy to beat, he's fresher having not played this week and the type to take advantage of his entry into this group. Back Norrie to get a win here.
