Cameron Norrie vs Brandon Nakashima Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP National Bank Open

Ninth seeded Cameron Norrie takes on Brandon Nakashima in the first round of the Montreal Masters. He's fresh from making it to the final in  Los Cabos, where he was beaten by Daniil Medvedev. The winner of this match takes on either Miomir Kecmanovic or Botic van de Zandschlup in the second round. Norrie has moved up to 11th in the rankings after his success in Los Cabos. He'll be targeting a return to the top ten with another good run here. His last three tournaments have produced a quarter final, semi-final (at Wimbledon) and that final in Washington.  He beat Nakashima in straight sets in the Eastbourne grass court tournament.  That took his career record against Nakashima to 2-1. His other win was in the 2021 Los Cabos tournament final, the only loss was in Delray Beach (an event Norrie won this year) two years ago.

Nakashma lost in the Los Cabos quarter finals and that was the second tournament in a row in which he's reached the last eight. Before Los Cabos, he was beaten by Frances Tiafoe in straight sets. That made it five quarter finals this year but he's yet to get to the last four.  He has recovered from a bad patch earlier in the year but this is a tough draw for him. Go for Norrie to get the victory.
