Third seed Alex Michelsen will face off with the unseeded Cameron Norrie in the quarter-finals of the Delray Beach Open. This will be their second meeting in less than two weeks and the winner will play Miomir Kecmanovic or Marcos Giron in the semi-finals. Below is our prediction for this match.

Norrie defeated Michelsen on an indoor hardcourt in Dallas 10 days ago. He won via a decider after battling from a set down. The Brit has had a shaky start to the year but has been in strong form this week.

He has won both of his matches without dropping a set. Norrie, who has moved up to 57th in the live ranking, defeated ninth-seed Arthur Rinderknech in the last round.

The 29-year-old is a 2022 Delray champion.

Alex Michelsen will have only one thing in mind when he battles Norrie and that is to avenge the loss in Dallas. The American will be eager not to suffer a successive loss on home soil to the Brit.

Michelsen has surpassed his finish from last season by advancing to the quarter-finals. His passage to this round came rather fortuitously as Michael Mmoh retired from their second-round showdown while ahead 1-0.

Michelsen, who has a fourth-round finish in Melbourne as his season highlight, has moved up to 35th in the live ranking.
