The Dallas Cowboys (10-3) are on the road to face the Buffalo Bills (7-6) on Sunday evening in a game which will have huge implications for the destination of both the AFC and NFC East titles. Buffalo has been solid on both sides of the ball this season but they have not managed to close out games. They have been right in every game with two of their defeats coming in overtime and the other four by a combined total of 17 points. They sit second in the NFL in 3rd down conversions at 48.8% with only the Baltimore Ravens (114) picking up more rushing first down than the Bills' 112. The Bills have turned the ball over 21 times on offence this season, that is a top-10 standing in the league that they would rather not find themselves in. Josh Allen is one interception away from tying a career-high figure with four games of the regular season still to play. He faces the Cowboys' DaRon Bland who has eight picks this year to lead the league, which could be dangerous for the Bills.

Playing away from home has not been to the Cowboys' liking this season, they are a far superior team when they are under their dome. Two of their three losses on their travels are fair ones at the Philadelphia Eagles and the San Francisco 49ers, but the loss to the Arizona Cardinals was a little more disappointing. Their three wins on the road have come at teams with combined records of 11-29 and until recent wins on their own patch against the Seattle Seahawks and Philadelphia Eagles, they have not taken on much quality at home either. Their strength of schedule so far this season has been -2.9 with only the Dolphins having an easier time of things when judged on the opponents they have faced. Teams can only beat those that are put in front of them of course, but even at 10-3 and on top of the NFC East, it is still hard to know exactly how good the Cowboys really are.
