The Brooklyn Nets will welcome fellow strugglers, the Washington Wizards when they take to the court next in the NBA. They both sit in the bottom four places in the Eastern Conference, separated by 8.5 games. Below is our prediction for this match.

The Nets have won three in a row. It is only the second time this season that they have won as many consecutively. They are now seeking to win four successive matches for the first time.

Jordi Fernandez’s men, who’ve been one of the worst teams this season, were on a seven-match losing run before this change in fortunes. They've won against the Hornets and twice against Western Conference high-flyers the Rockets.

Improving to a 17-33 record, Brooklyn earned a 99-97 home win over Houston last time out.

The Wizards are also witnessing an upturn in fortunes. Brian Keefe’s men have won their last two games, defeating the Timberwolves and Hornets on the road.

It is only the second time that they have won two in a row this season. Washington possesses the worst record in the NBA and before this two-game winning run, had lost 16 in a row.

Currently, in the midst of a three-game road trip, the Wizards defeated the Hornets 124-114 last time out. This was their eighth victory in 49 outings this season.
