Brooklyn Nets host Atlantic Division foes Toronto Raptors at Barclays Center in the final match of East Group C of the In-Season Tournament on Tuesday. The hosts (2-1) in the competition are placed third, with the Celtics in second place. The visitors (1-2) are fourth and cannot progress to the next round. Orlando lead the group (3-1), and while both the Celtics and Nets are still alive in the group, they will need big wins to take top spot. However, with the current competition format, it is all to play for, with a wildcard spot still up for grabs. 

The Nets produced a scorching shooting performance on Sunday to reverse an early deficit into a solid 118-109 win over the Chicago Bulls. Spencer Dinwiddie contributed 24 points, and the Nets set an NBA season-high by sinking 25 three-pointers in the game, just two short of the franchise record of 27 and four fewer than the NBA record. With that result, Brooklyn are now 8-8 and 10th in the Eastern Conference, but they are also 0-3 against Atlantic Division teams. The Nets are shooting 47.2% from the field this season and are putting up 117.6 points per 100 possessions, which ranks ninth in the NBA. However, their 116.8 allowed per 100 ranks 20th. 

Meanwhile, The Raptors followed back-to-back victories with a 105-102 defeat to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Pascal Siakam and Jakob Poeltl contributed 18 points each for Toronto, with Poeltl also securing 13 rebounds. The Raptors are winless (0-4) against other teams in the division. Toronto stands fourth in the league for assists per game, averaging 28.1, with Dennis Schroder leading the team at 6.5 assists per game. They rank 23rd in the league for offensive efficiency, averaging 112.4 points per 100 possessions, while defensively, they rank 11th, allowing 112.9 points per 100 possessions. However, the Raptors are on a five-match losing streak against this opponent dating back to March 2022.
