The Brooklyn Nets (14-30) and the Phoenix Suns (21-21) will play at Barclays Center in an NBA cross-conference matchup. The Nets are 12th in the Eastern Conference, while the Suns are 11th in the Western Conference. Here's our match prediction. 

In a one-sided affair, the Brooklyn Nets were on the receiving end of a devastating 127-101 away defeat against the Oklahoma City Thunder. This result saw them drop their third straight game.

Cameron Johnson and Tyrese Martin scored 15 points and dished out 2 assists in that defeat. 

The Nets will be aiming for a confidence-boosting outcome at home. However, their recent display at Barclays Center have left much to be desired with the team in a slump recording seven consecutive losses. 

The Phoenix Suns had no high expectations in their match against the Cleveland Cavaliers as they lost 118-92 on the road. This loss wasn't jarring, considering their inferior status in that match.

Kevin Durant led the team with 23 points, had 7 rebounds, and one assist, while Devin Booker and Tyus Jones poured 15 and 13 points, respectively. 

As a result of that defeat, the Suns saw their two-match winning streak come to an end. However, that shouldn't demotivate them from getting back to winning ways as they have won five of their last seven matches.
