The Brooklyn Nets (21-36) will square off with the Oklahoma City Thunder (46-11) at Barclays Center in Wednesday's NBA cross-conference clash. The Nets are 11th in the Eastern Conference table, while the Thunder are first in the Western Conference. Here's our match prediction. 

The Brooklyn Nets were favoured to win against the Washington Wizards on Tuesday. However, such a commitment didn't align with their vision as they were on the wrong end of a 107-99 scoreline.

This comes after an impressive showing against the 76ers in which they claimed a surprising 105-103 victory on the road.

Putting aside the negativity, the Nets have shown consistency in their matches. They have won seven of their last ten outings while limiting their opponents to fewer than 100 points on six occasions. 

The Oklahoma City Thunder, on the other hand, were stunned by the underestimated Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday. 

The Thunder dominated the first three quarters but found themselves being outplayed in the fourth (41-19). That led to the game going to overtime and ultimately leading to their 131-128 demise at home.

That defeat was justifiable considering that was their second night of a back-to-back against a fresh pair of legs. Despite that result, they still are in good shape and come into this match with nine wins in their last 11 games.
