The Barclays Center will host NBA action this Friday night when the Brooklyn Nets face off against the Miami Heat. In the Eastern Conference, the Nets (17-34) and the Heat (25-24) are ranked 12th and sixth respectively. Let’s get into the match prediction.  

The Brooklyn Nets had their three-match winning streak shattered when the basement side the Washington Wizards pulled off a surprising 119-102 victory on Wednesday.  

Keon Johnson scored 25 points, six rebounds and three assists, but the Nets collapsed in the final quarter, and were in a 25-point deficit at one stage.  

Brooklyn holds the second-lowest-scoring offence in the league, averaging 105.3 points per game, while a stronger defensive unit allows 112.2 PPG (13th overall).  

Meanwhile, the Miami Heat successfully defended a seven-point lead heading into the final quarter against the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday, ending the match at 108-101.  

Tyler Herro netted half of his 30-point total from beyond the arc and contributed seven assists and seven rebounds, while Nikola Jovic and Terry Rozier both broke the 20-point mark.

Miami ranks 22nd for points scored, averaging 111.0 per game, while they are seventh on the defensive end, allowing 110.8 PPG.
