The Brooklyn Nets suffered their seventh consecutive defeat on Saturday when they conceded 12 points without reply in the final four minutes to gift the Charlotte Hornets a 105-102 victory. 

D’Angelo Russell led the team with 28 points, six rebounds and seven assists, while only three of his teammates scored over in double-digits.

Brooklyn currently sits at either end of the scoring charts, second last in offence (105.1 points per game), while a stronger defensive unit ranks 11th in defence (111.6 PPG).

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Lakers saw their eight-game unbeaten run shattered following a 111-101 loss to the Boston Celtics on Saturday.
