The final standings in Pool B of the Women’s Volleyball competition at the Olympics will be decided on Sunday when Brazil take on Poland. The Dream Team currently lead the group, while the White and Reds are second. Let’s jump into the match prediction. 

Regardless of the outcome of this match, both these sides will feature in the knockout round having won their two preceding games. 

Brazil currently hold the advantage in the group standings owning to their excellent record. They have not dropped a single set as yet, while the Poles have lost one. 

The Dream Team proved far too good for both Kenya and Japan in their two matches so far, claiming 3-0 wins while only conceding 20 points in a set once. 

With those results, the South Americans have now won eight of their last 10 games in all competitions, though one of the defeats suffered in that time was against their upcoming opponents at the Nations League last month. 

Meanwhile, Poland experienced an early shock in the competition when they dropped their first set to a spirited Japan in the opening match of the group. However, they quickly found top gear to win the next three sets and secure the points.

Against Kenya, the White and Reds were ruthless, knocking the African representatives down 3-0 without conceding more than 17 points in any of their three sets. 

The Poles have now won seven of their last 10 games, but that win over Brazil last month was the only one they’ve managed against the Dream Team in their last six attempts.
