Brazil vs Egypt Prediction & Betting Tips - Men's Olympic Tournament

Brazil and Egypt will look to keep their qualification hopes alive when they face off in the volleyball competition at the 2024 Paris Olympics on Friday. The Dream Team are currently in third place in the group with one point, while the Pharaohs are looking to avoid ending the competition with no points. Check out our match prediction below. 

Brazil came to Paris expected to be the most likely to challenge Itlay and Poland for a top-two finish. However, they enter the final game of the group looking to at least end third, giving them an outside chance of qualifying for the knockouts as one of the top two third-place teams

The Dream Team suffered a 3-1 loss to the Italians in their opening matches at the Games last weekend and put on a better showing against Poland in match two but were narrowly defeated in the final set 15-12. 

A win here could take the South Americans to four points but they will need one of either Serbia or Germany to lose their matches in the other Pools to secure their spot in the next round. 

Meanwhile, Egypt still have an outside chance of qualifying, though it looks highly improbable given their performances in the competition so far. They have failed to win a single set in Paris, losing 3-0 to both Italy and Poland in their preceding match. 

The Pharaohs are now on a five-match losing streak in all competitions and managed only two wins in their last 10 games. 

Additionally, the side from Africa have faced Brazil a total of nine times in competitive matches in the past but have never managed a victory.
